Dungeons & Dragons Postcards
Postcards from the Dungeons & Dragons Archives
In this Box Set there are 50 Memorable Postcards to collect with Illustrations that have appeared on module covers, starter sets, and other beloved books and products from every edition of the game, dating back to the 1970’s.

Where I Got Them From
I bought the Dungeons & Dragons Postcards Box Sets on eBay for £11.63 inclusive of postage
How I Listed Them
When I listed the Dungeons & Dragons Postcards, I decided to take a detailed approach by listing each postcard individually.
I though this would give buyers the option to buy a single postcard of their choice, rather than being tied to a set of three, four, six or whatever
To make my listings stand out, I took clear, well lit photos, making sure to capture both the front and back of each postcard.
This allowed buyers to get a clear view of both the artwork and any relevant information printed on the back, like descriptions or copyright details.
I also included a photo of the postcard placed inside a picture mount to give buyers a realistic idea of how it would look when framed.
My Sales Expectations
When I first listed the Dungeons & Dragons Postcards, I thought they would sell quickly as they seemed to be a popular item with a big fan base
The reality was different as things were really slow and I didn’t make a single sale for around the first six or seven weeks
So I decided to cut down on my listings and just have one listing with all 50 postcards listed, with a quantity of 2 for each postcard
I have set my sales expectations as follows:
-
Sales Expectations: I now expect to sell around 5 postcards per month and because it’s now a multi listing I should benefit from increased visibility from the listing have sales
-
Revenue Goals: Based on the pricing structure I’ve set, at £3 per postcard, I’m expecting to generate £15 revenue per month
-
Trends Over Time: I hope that sales will be consistent and when a new D&D game or movie hits public awareness then hopefully sales will spike
-
Profit Margin: After factoring in the cost of sourcing (£11 for the box set), eBay fees, shipping costs, and packaging, I expect a profit margin of about 40% per postcard
Customer Feedback & Questions
So far, the Dungeons & Dragon Postcards I have sold have received positive feedback from buyers, which has been great
Although I haven’t received many questions from buyers yet, I’ve made sure my listings are as clear and informative as possible, which I believe helps manage expectations and reduce the need for queries.
Since the feedback has been so positive, I haven’t needed to make any significant adjustments yet.
As always, I am open to feedback, and I plan to continue improving my listings based on customer reviews and any suggestions I might receive.
