Where I Got Them From
I bought these from Vintage Wholesale Supply Ltd.
I placed my order on 2 March 2025. This was as a pre-order with delivery expected sometime between 1st-15th May
I bought a bale of x100 Vintage Basketball Shorts which were originally listed at £240.00 but were ‘discounted’ down to £100.00 with Free Shipping
During the week before I placed this order I received several emails and messages on the app to tell me I could get another discount code
so that’s exactly what I did, I used a code and got £25 off my order and so I only paid £75 for x100 Vintage Basketball Shorts
Offering discount codes is a fairly standard practice of buying anything online, so be sure to take a look at the suppliers website before you spend more than you need to.
How I Listed Them
As this is a pre-order and I haven’t received them yet I will update this section once the Shorts arrive and I have listed them.
I will likely make a video to show me unboxing them, and then once I have listed them I will share my results
My Sales Expectations
The Vintage Basketball Shorts cost me £75 for x100 which gives a unit price of £0.75
Before I bought them I looked at the sold listings on eBay and most were selling between £7 – £20
I think there’s a possibility that there may be an influx of these Shorts on eBay as other people will have bought the bales too, but many will be selling in other places so it may not be an issue
When I placed the order there were many bales available at the time, for the pre-order delivery in May.
Since then I have seen a big restock at Vintage Wholesale Supply and, at the time of writing, 9 May 2025, there are currently 61 bales available
I want to turn these Shorts over fairly quickly so I am planning to price them slightly less that the average listing, but that’s based on what I am seeing today.
In all likelihood I will re-assess the pricing when the Shorts arrive and I can see what condition they are in and also see what the prices are in May
It’s important to be flexible and adjust accordingly
